Travel abroad was halted in 2020-2021 due to the Corona Virus pandemic. Sandra and I collected school supplies and donated to a special needs class at P76, to the parent coordinator at P144, community groups, local churches, the National Action Network as well as a homeless shelter for families in Harlem.
Due to the generosity of neighbors, strangers and family we were able to provide toys and winter coats for 50 families during the Christmas season in 2020. Toys were also donated to our school crossing guards to give to children who are less fortunate.
All donations are collected, sorted and distributed by Sandra and I.
