Upon our trip we faced emotions I never thought we’d feel. I admit I
expected to feel sympathy for these unfortunate children. Our goal is always to help
children and that’s what we did. Sandra and I pushed through
our saddened hearts and kept strong to turning things around for others.
We were extremely delighted to receive donations from friends and family and
strangers, the faces of the children who accepted them were priceless.
Their smiles and laughs still stick with me to this day. Children were moving forward
with outward hands and smiles as if we were life long friends. I’m excited
for our next trip back to invest more time and donations to give to the community.
