Delivered gently used baby clothes as well as children's clothes and shoes to orphanages and supplied pencils and note books to schools

Donated gently used clothes and shoes to families and delivered 50 packs of pens and pencils, 25 boxes of crayons and 50 note books to a Primary School
OUR JOURNEY
Debora was inspired to help those less fortunate when she recognized the need for her students to have adequate seasonal clothes and holiday gifts.

She held the first fundraiser amongst colleagues, neighbors, and friends and was greeted with support by the community in Harlem. These generous donations allowed her to go on her first trip to Ghana in 1999, carrying gently used children’s clothes and shoes.
After a couple of trips, Debora met Sandra and their shared passion for helping children along with their generosity led them to establish Travel with a Purpose. This has allowed them to extend their reach and assist needy families in the villages of Apatrapa and Kumasi in Ghana, Nairobi in Kenya as well as Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa.
